When you need excessive wireless range, this Transceiver is the answer. Plus, you can add one of these to each end of your AirPort for incomparable wireless performance. The Transceiver is ideal when putting together very long wireless distance point-to-point systems, college dorms, distant access points like houseboats trying to connect to wireless access points, etc. Typical installations include classrooms, long office layouts or fixing range problems with your iTunes and AirPort Express.

The 27dBm Transceiver operates on all 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi systems, so you'll always be able to connect to wireless networks wherever you may roam. The Transceiver is Wi-Fi compliant, supporting both 802.11g and 802.11b and works with both Mac OS 9.2 and OS 10.x systems. This product is designed especially for Apple's AirPort Extreme wireless systems.

Apple wireless products have an RF output of less than 50mW; while our 27dBm Transceiver pumps out 500mW. That's how you get the wireless range you need and the signal strength that makes it usable.
